Hero Skills
Luo Yi has fairly simple abilities, but everything is complicated by the marks of yin and yang. We'll tell you what three active and passive skills the character is endowed with, and at the end we'll look at how to use them in practice.
Passive Skill - Duality
After each hit with skills, Luo Yi recreates marks (yin or yang) on the game characters on the battlefield. They alternate with each other after using one of the active abilities. The marks will remain on the field for the next 6 seconds, causing a yin-yang reaction when resonating with the opposite ones. While Yin-Yang is active, marked enemies are damaged and stunned for a second, being pulled towards other opponents with opposite marks.
With each new yin or yang element applied, Luo Yi receives a shield that increases as the hero's level develops. It also increases movement speed by 30%. Purchased effects last for 2 seconds.
First Skill - Dispersion
The mage attacks in the specified direction with yin/yang energy, dealing damage in a fan-shaped area to all enemies in front of him and applying marks to them. After each use, black and white marks replace each other.
The ability stacks up to 4 charges (1 every 8 seconds). An additional charge appears immediately after the completion of the yin-yang reaction.
The second skill is Rotation
Summons Yin Fire or Yin Water (depending on the status, which changes after each cast) onto the battlefield in a marked area, dealing AoE damage and slowing characters by 60% for 0,5 seconds.
The area remains on the field for the next 6 seconds and continues to deal small damage to nearby enemies every 0,7 seconds. If an enemy with the opposite mark approaches the area, it will be pulled to the center and resonance will occur, causing a yin-yang reaction.
Ultimate - Distraction
Luo Yi marks a teleportation circle around herself on the ground, which, after a short download, will transport her and allies who enter the area to a new location. The teleport works within a radius of 28 units from the current location, the landing point is chosen by the player. Upon arrival, the hero receives a 6% reduction in the cooldown of all abilities.

How to play Lo Yi
Among the main advantages of Lo Yi are strong crowd control, devastating AoE damage and teleportation. At certain moments, the magician himself can act as an initiator and take a leading position in terms of damage among the entire team, while easily moving across the playing field to the desired points.
However, behind all the pleasant moments lies a difficult learning curve. Luo Yi requires calculation and properly thought-out combinations that will apply the necessary marks to enemies and constantly cause the resonance of the signs. There are also no escape skills, so the character can be vulnerable in close combat if CC abilities are on cooldown.
At the initial stage, the caster easily copes with waves of minions and can play somewhat aggressively against weak enemies. Try to farm faster so that you can keep up with your opponents in the middle game.
After getting the ultimate use the teleporter and quickly move between the three lines, arranging ganks, earning kills and destroying towers together with allies. Do not rush into battle on your own, without protection. Calculate the ult correctly - it has a very long cooldown.
The best combinations for Luo Yi
- aim second skill into the crowd and then start spamming first skill, quickly changing labels and causing a constant resonance. It is better to use at a safe distance from the enemy.
- For single purposes use the first skill twiceto deal damage, then add an attack second abilityto pull to the center, finish the job first skill.
