Most of the players are used to using the regular chat in Roblox. At the same time, it is safe in the game - it hides insults, personal data, words prohibited by the application. However, some users find it more convenient to communicate using a microphone.
What is voice chat and who can use it
Voice Chat is a feature that has been in Roblox since 2021 and is still in beta testing. All players over the age of 13 can use this functionality. To use the project requires an age verification. To do this, you need to go to the settings.
- In the account information, you need to find a line about the age of the player.
- Below it will be a button. Verify My Age (English - Confirm My Age). You need to click on it and perform the necessary actions.
- First, the site will ask you to enter your email.
- If the user confirms the actions on the game site through a computer, after entering the mail, he will be asked to scan a QR code from his phone.
Users who confirm their age via phone will see an offer to go to a special site to confirm. On it, the player will be asked to photograph any document confirming age: birth certificate, passport, etc.
Sometimes a regular passport may not be suitable and you will have to use a foreign passport. This is due to early access to the functionality of voice communication.
How to enable voice chat

What to do if voice chat is not working
There are some reasons why this method of communication stops or does not start working at all. There are not very many of them, but some players may encounter them:

- Developers of some plays does not include the ability to communicate through a microphone.

What can replace voice chat
If you want to talk to unfamiliar players and make new friends, then the voice chat inside the game is perfect. However, in some cases it can be replaced by other methods of communication:
- Calls in familiar messengers - Whatsapp, Viber, Telegram.

- Teamspeak. Having to pay for servers can be inconvenient.
